One coat is all it takes, especially when that coat has the benefits of a double-faced fabric. Our designers have dubbed this 'the daddy of all overcoats', and with good reason. At 740g in weight, this is a substantial garment that's MADE TO LAST.

The double-faced construction means that two different fabrics were threaded together on a single loom during its making. On the outside, a classic Glen check in a go-anywhere shade of grey; on the inside, a puppytooth weave. This makes it supremely cosy, since there is a whole layer of wool-blend fabric on the inside rather than the usual lining. The inverted box pleat at the back gives you space when sitting down but it's closed to keep you warm. How thoughtful is that?

At the sides, slip pockets for easy access for chilled digits; on top, a collar that can be popped against intrusive winds. Inside, two internal chest pockets, carefully sized to hold your wallet and phone. Fasten it up with the mock horn buttons and you're ready to beat the chill.
