Our Hemingway range of furniture offers traditional, heritage-style designs, made from natural materials and built-to-last. This open storage unit is made from melia oak solids and pippy oak veneers, stained in a rich, deep colour and hand-polished for durability with a wax lacquer. Antique brass knob handles complete its formal late 19th century aesthetic. Useful in both living spaces and bedrooms, there are two open shelf sections and a storage drawer.
About the materials used
Pippy oak features small, tight clusters of knots which appear sporadically in the growth of the three. This feature is highly valued for its decorative appearance. Melia ash is a fast-growing tree, taking only 20-25 years to mature, and is recognised for its stable and durable qualities.
