How to use:
Laura’s technique:
- 1. Set the Canvas: Sweep a lighter shade across the lid to smooth and softly brighten, creating a unified base
- 2. Build Dimension: Blend mid to deeper tones to sculpt where you want to build depth, like the crease or outer corner
- 3. Play with Finish: Tap on lustrous shimmer shades to amplify dimension at the centre of the lid or inner corner
- 4. Define or Intensify: Build intensity along upper and lower lash lines and/or inner corners to define eyes as desired. Diffuse edges for a seamless finish
Pro-Tips:
- Build colour in sheer layers, starting with lighter shades and adding deeper shades as needed
- To intensify eye shape and depth, focus dark matte shades close to the lash line and crease
- To open the eyes, layer light and/or shimmering shades across the full lid and inner corners to brighten and bring features forward
The darker the shade, the smaller the brush: Use a wide, fluffy brush (like Finishing Pony Tail Brush or All Over Eye Colour) to broadly diffuse shades onto lids, while a smaller, denser brush (like Eye Crease Brush) is best to maintain pigment on darker shades. For finer application closer to the lash line, use a flat, short-bristled brush (like Smudge Brush or Flat Eye Liner Brush).
