Levi's Vintage 1936 Type 1 Lined Denim Jacket, Western Frontier

A recreation of the original that was introduced in 1936, this Levi's Type 1 jacket was once considered the unofficial uniform of the American working man.

Made from non-stretch red selvedge denim from Cone® Mills, a leading American manufacturer and proud Levi's partner for over 100 years, it is constructed with all the recognizable period details that made this jacket such a favourite.

Cut for a regular fit, it features a blanket lining, double pleated front, top-stitched collar and waistband, single chest pocket, exposed copper rivets and copper-pronged cinch back for an adjustable fit.

Finished with the "Two Horse" lot 506 leather patch marked XX to represent the strength of the denim, it also bears the very first red tab to the chest pocket.
