Liberty LondonDeco Scallop Furnishing Fabric

Deco Scallop is inspired by Liberty’s archive catalogues of the late 1890s to 1910s, when beautiful Japanese Art Deco fans and wallpapers were imported alongside fabrics, jewellery, porcelain, screens and rugs. The motif was developed by the Liberty design studio as a simple contemporary woven jacquard design – a modern take on the Liberty peacock feather and Art Deco fan. This yarn-dyed jacquard weave is richly coloured for luminous effect, expertly capturing the fine detail and tone work within the design. The fabric is woven in Italy, creating a soft effect with fine detail and rich colour.
