The nkuku Usha lamp is made from sustainable mango wood, handcrafted into a beautiful, timeless silhouette. Each lamp is made in India by skilled artisans using traditional tools and techniques.
The mango wood used to make Nkuku's wooden pieces come from mango trees that have stopped bearing fruit. This allows the farmers to plant more trees and provides them with a supplementary income.
Please note, lampshade and bulbs are not included.

Brand information
Nkuku specialise in eco friendly and fair trade homeware and gifts, all made from natural materials using sustainable methods of production. Founded by Alistair and Alex Cooke, the name "Nkuku" was borrowed during their travels from a village in Zambia where the business plan was jotted down on the back of a paperback. Their aim was to promote the traditional skills of the artisans they met along the way.
