car seat fitting demonstration
From bringing your newborn baby home for the very first time to exploring the world with your toddler, if you’re travelling by car then it’s vital you use the correct infant carrier, car seat or booster seat.
Choosing a car seat can be quite a daunting experience. There are so many models to choose from, how do you know what’s right for your family? Our trained Nursery experts will be happy to help you and explain all the things you should consider, and check our car seat buying guide here
How the service works
Our Nursery experts can demonstrate how to fit a car seat in your own car to provide complete peace of mind. This service will give you the knowledge and confidence to fit the seat yourself. Please bring your vehicle handbook along with you when attending your appointment.
All our experts receive regular training to ensure they have up-to-date product knowledge and understand the strict safety laws that must be followed.
The demonstration service will cover these steps:
- Our Nursery expert will ask you a few questions in order to identify your exact needs
- They’ll then advise you on the most suitable infant carrier or car seat
- They’ll demonstrate how to use car seats and the difference between them, to help you make a confident and informed decision
- They will advise on safety
- They will also explain how to order and buy your car seat, so you know exactly what to expect

Please note: we offer a demonstration service only to show you how to fit a car seat, but it's not a fitting service. It’s the responsibility of the parent, guardian or car owner to fit the seat.
