By using the buttonhole elastic on the inside of the sleeves, Polarn O. Pyret's Flexisize jacket can expand by up to 1.5 sizes from the size indicated. Buy your child’s current size and adjust the sleeve length as your child grows. When it’s time for a younger child to inherit the garment, just adjust the size.
The shell jacket is soft, slick and made of wind and waterproof fabric that's durable with good breathability. With a tone-on-tone-coloured lining in 100% recycled polyester and a detachable hood that can be attached with snaps, the hood is also adjustable and has elastic at the sides. detailed with reinforced fabric at the back and sleeve cuffs, the cuffs are also elastic and can be adjusted with riptape. The pre-shaped sleeves allow for a perfect fit while the taped seams make the jacket completely waterproof, and the storm flap on the outside and inside of the zipper provides extra protection against cold air and wet weather.
The jacket comes fully expanded, which means it has to be shortened to its indicated size in order to be able to adjust the sleeve length as desired. The original size of the jacket is indicated between the red markings on the buttonhole elastic. Please note that the jacket has two adjustments in each sleeve to ensure the best possible fit.
