This unique wine, aged in small oak barrels and bottled without filtration, belongs to a new selection of rare and exceptional cuvées produced in limited quantities from the Languedoc region in the South of France. The Révélation series reveals the special soil and micro-climate from a region that has remained largely undiscovered outside France.
Blending together knowledge of traditional techniques with a background in New World wines, Catherine and Laurent Delaunay follow a 150-year family tradition of creating and discovering special wines which express the most unique qualities of the region.
Two elegant Riedel red wine glasses perfectly complement the wine. Founded in 1756, the company has become the glassware brand of choice for wine connoisseurs and drink specialists globally. The large surface area of these glasses helps to allow the aromas and flavours of your wine to emerge. The bottle and glasses are presented in a beautiful wooden box with a photographic lid and makes a fabulous gift for a wine lover.
Tasting notes:
Aromas of bright cherry, red berry fruits mixed with floral notes and delicate vanilla hints. The palate is complex, rich and long with a balanced fresh acidity.
