Simple in design the Philadelphia goblet has a generous bowl size and robust spindle stem. It's a reinterpretation of the chalices of the 1800s with plenty of space to add a personalised message.
It's part of Royal Selangor's Liberty collection which takes the simplicity of colonial American pewter and reinterprets it into more contemporary pieces.
Pewter is almost maintenance-free as it does not react with the air to oxidise or tarnish. It can attract dust and dirt, but all that's required is an occasional wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Over time pewter develops a pleasing and subdued patina unique to the metal which is part of the beauty of investing in this material.
