Ruark re-design
Its moulded polymer enclosure has been acoustically treated, complemented by a hand-crafted slatted wooden grille. A fresh but timeless look is created, while still being distinctively Ruark in appearance.

Ruark audio
A linear amplifier along with the brand's NS+ driver and adaptive equalisation produce an eminently listenable sound, at every volume level.

Auto-adjusting display
At home at any room in the house, but a perfect bedside radio, its OLED display shows time, alarm and programme info, automatically adjusting brightness level to match the ambience of the room. With a real time clock built in, time and date are kept live when power is disconnected, or when transmitted data is not available. Dual alarms help keep you on schedule too.

DAB/DAB+/FM radio
DAB digital radio brings you high quality digital sound and many exclusive stations. It automatically finds all your available stations, and lets you select them easily by name. Meanwhile, FM frequency caters for any stations that haven’t yet gone digital.

Versatile connections
Connect your smart device wirelessly with Bluetooth, while its USB port lets you play music back from USB devices, or just use it as a charging port to keep your devices topped up. And you can still connect in traditional fashion to its auxiliary port, or listen via wired headphones.

Easy control
Ruark's trademark RotoDial makes operation simple and intuitive, while a dedicated R1 remote control is available, sold separately.
