The mirrorless A6100 includes refined capabilities in a pocket size that makes it easy to get beautiful pictures almost anywhere. Full size sensor for better quality
The same sensor format that Sony builds into the full-sized Alpha DSLRs gives this camera more detail than typical point-and-shoot cameras. APS-C sensor size delivers an exceptional combination of high resolution, high sensitivity and gorgeous background bokeh. With a sensor optimising light collection efficiency, the result is supremely natural textures and hues. A maximum ISO of 32000 (expandable to 51200 for stills) with improved noise suppression means sharp, clean imagery, even in dark environments.

Real time autofocus
425 focus points cover the frame for accurate tracking, with autofocus speeds of up to just 0.02sec reaction time. Shoot at up to 11fps with AF/AE, while AI-based subject tracking automatically chooses the most appropriate settings. Real-time Eye AF keeps your subject in sharp focus, and even works with animals for sharp pet portraits or more adventurous wildlife photography. You can even shoot silently at up to 8fps so you don't disturb your subject. When shooting movies, Hybrid AF ensures tight, steady focus on moving subjects.

Fabulous 4K movies
Record superb quality movies in 4K resolution at 30p frame rate with full pixel readout and no pixel binning. You'll achieve sharp and steady footage with rich, realistic colour and detail. A microphone socket lets you record real-time audio as you shoot too; perfect for video-logs.

Double zoom lens kit
The 16-50mm OSS II lens is incredibly versatile, providing excellent wide angle performance, or zoomed in for perfect portrait shooting. A clever retracting mechanism makes is easy to store, while Optical SteadyShot technology will stabilise your snaps to help prevent unwanted blur. Get even closer with the 55-210mm Telephoto. Perfect for wildlife and sports photography, this lens blends 3.8x zoom with blur-reducing Optical SteadyShot, internal autofocus and a rounded lens aperture. All of this tech combines to deliver sharp pictures, no matter how far away your target.

Tilting touch screen & customisable control
Change your view with a tiltable LCD screen with intuitive touch control. It flips up the full 180° for vlog recording and high-quality selfies, and downward 74° so you can shoot from high and low angles for a more dynamic or tricky-to-reach perspective. Designed with ease-of use in mind, buttons, keys and the user interface are customisable so you can personalise controls to suit your own preference.
