Easy selfies
Its vari-angle touch LCD screen combines with the body’s grip to provide secure and solid holding, making selfie-shooting easy. It flips out horizontally and allows for precise framing and fluid operation.
Look your best
The ZV-1 makes all skin colours look vibrant, natural and healthy. And the Soft Skin Effect allows for natural skin tones and optimises brightness for faces. Image stabilisation ensures you can shoot smooth footage when walking, and as the light changes, automatic exposure tracks faces to makes sure they stay well-lit. You can add creative effects, and make cool slow motion and timelapse videos too.
Quality audio
A directional 3-capsule microphone and wind shield is supplied, for recording high sound quality on your vlogs, so you get clear, unfettered sound when recording out and about.
Dedicated Product Review and Bokeh settings
A Product Showcase setting is designed for perfect product review videos, making sure those chosen items are displayed to their best. And a Bokeh Switch gives you easy control over lush background blur, to really make the subject stand out.

Sony's innovative Real-time Eye AF technology locks on and tracks people's eyes, even when shooting 4K movies, so your subject is always in crisp and sharp focus. And when you want to switch focus to another subject, just touch it on the screen and let the ZV-1 do the focussing work.

Quality webcam
The ZV1 can be used as a webcam with video and audio, for both Windows and Macintosh systems (firmware update may be required). So you can make use of its Zeiss lens and 3-channel microphone for high quality visuals, defocused backgrounds and sharp audio when live-streaming or on a conference video call. It can also be connected directly to select compatible mobile phones for on-the-go streaming.
