The Bridge X connects all of your tado X products to the internet. You only need one Bridge X per home. If you have a larger home, a second Bridge X can be used as a signal amplifier.
Please note: The tado Bridge X router is only compatible with tado X products.
A smart connection
tado X products form their own network, which other smart devices can join if they also use Thread. Thread networks are stable, fast, energy-efficient and well protected against interference. The tado Bridge X works as a Thread Border Router to connect this network to the internet.
Universal and simple
tado X uses the Matter smart home standard, so you don't need multiple smart home hubs or bridges. Many other devices and brands work with Matter, which means they're easy to connect to each other and your smart home network.
A connected home
If your home is larger, you can use the Bridge X as a signal booster to extend the range of your network.
Please note: this product is not compatible with tado V3+ products or older models. You need the Bridge X if you don’t have another Thread Border Router.
