This MK2 version continues the supremely stylish design of the original C70, with a suite of audio upgrades.
Remastered sound
An 8cm diameter woofer unit and a 2cm dome tweeter have been exclusively developed for the SC-C70MK2. By using the acoustic lens optimised for the newly-developed tweeter, more powerful and high-resolution sounds fill a large living room.
Space Tune
Space Tune Auto achieves perfectly balanced sound easily at the push of a button by automatically adjusting the audio output according to its position in the room.
3 JENO Engines and LAPC
Technics’ state-of-the-art JENO (Jitter Elimination and Noise-Shaping Optimisation) Engines get rid of any jitter so your music is distortion-free. LAPC (Load Adaptive Phase Calibration) performs digital signal processing for perfect audio alignment with the loudspeakers and an accentuated, punchy sound.
Seamless connectivity
With both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and featuring Google Chromecast and Apple Airplay 2, you can link up your smart phone or tablet and play tracks from such apps as Spotify, TIDAL, Deezer, or YouTube (subscriptions may apply for streaming services). Or you can still connect via cable in traditional style with Optical and Aux inputs. Play almost any digital format from the USB port, while Ethernet gives you reliable internet connection, and the headphone jack lets you listen in isolation. An elegant CD player sits on top for easy playback of your classic albums.
One touch favourites
Up to 9 presets can be set on the main unit, such as favourite internet radio stations, a Spotify playlist, or USB playback, so you can tune into your favourite music at the touch of just one button.
App control
Control the C70MK2 with the convenience of the Technics Audio Center App on your smart device, which also lets you wirelessly link it with other compatible Technics speakers for multi-room music throughout the home.
