Regent is Volt's crank-drive counterpart to the Burlington and it carries across much of what makes that model such a smooth, comfortable ride. Smart and dependable, Regent comes fitted with an adjustable stem, gently swept handlebars, SKS mudguards, and a pannier rack with built-in front and rear lights.
The SR Suntour suspension forks give the front end a lighter feel and a more responsive ride. It also includes a lock-out that lets you switch the suspension off when you'd rather the forks didn't soak up the energy you're putting in on smooth roads. In place of derailleur gears, Regent uses internal hub gears in the shape of the Shimano Nexus 8, a slick and intuitive setup with a simple twist grip that makes changing gear effortless. Braking is handled by hydraulic disc brakes for plenty of stopping power and a quick, responsive feel.
Driven by Bafang's M210 crank motor system, which tips the scales at just 3.2 kg, Regent can cover more than 80 miles* on a single charge, making it a superb choice for long-distance, low-maintenance, comfortable riding. Like every model in Volt's range, it arrives with a full 2-year peace-of-mind warranty.
