Inspired by her English country childhood and the colours, prints and fabrics of her childhood home,
Cath Kidston's work is filled with nostalgia and is instantly recognisable. Cath's love of vintage fabrics began when she started work with an antique fabrics dealer and from there her inspiration grew. Whilst looking at interior design, Cath realised that a combination of old and new would resonate with people and she opened her first store near Holland Park selling her beautiful fabrics alongside second hand furniture and household objects.
A huge success, today there are 59 Cath Kidston stores and concessions in the UK and Ireland and 54 across Spain, Japan, Republic of Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.
