Chances are, you’ve already seen some of Mon Ami’s super-cute stuffed animals – perhaps sitting on your colleague’s desk, going viral on TikTok or being cuddled by a baby. Well, now the brand is available at John Lewis, in-store and online, just in time for Christmas.
What is Mon Ami?
Known for its array of whimsical plush characters, Mon Ami is a premium soft-toy brand founded in America in 2018. The imaginative designs include food-inspired characters (such as a croissant, watermelon and taco), animal key charms and, of course, classic character-led plushies.
"We’re so excited to be bringing Mon Ami, to the UK – as the exclusive department store stockist,” says toys buying manager Alan Wright. ”Mon Ami are unique in bringing a really elevated and thoughtfully designed plush range - with each product designed not for novelty – but to give customers a toy that will foster a deep attachment and become a genuine keepsake to hand down across generations. Plush toys are having such a big resurgence in popularity – with both kids and adults. We feel like this elevated designed handwriting along with the higher level of quality Mon Ami delivers will really resonate with our customers, building on the success the brand have already had in the United States,” says Alan.
