How to return your item
You can return or exchange unwanted items up to 35 days after purchase. Items must:
- Be unused and in their original condition (including all labels and tags intact)
- Not contain personal data or have been manufacturer-registered (for phones, tablets, computers, etc)
- There are some items that we can't return or exchange unless faulty. Read our return policy to find out more
How to return
- Fill out the returns section on the front of your delivery note (if you still have your delivery note)
- Attach the label securely to your parcel:
- If you created a return from your order online you should have been emailed a printable label or a QR code that you can scan at your return location to get a label
- Alternatively, cut out and attach the label from the delivery note. If you don't have either of the above you can write your order number on a piece of paper and include it in your parcel (you should also write your order number on the outside of the parcel too)

- Package your parcel securely with the delivery note inside (if you have one)
- Take your parcel to your preferred location. If you’re taking to a carrier drop off location please ensure you ask for proof of postage and retain this as it provides your unique tracking number
Return locations
John Lewis store
Quickest return & refund. Simply bring the item to any till at your local shop with proof of purchase e.g. receipt, delivery note or order number. Find your nearest store.
Waitrose store
- Locations: You can return an item to any Waitrose & Partners shop, except Welcome Break branches. Check your nearest drop off locations.
- Size & Weight: Your parcel should be of a size 140 x 80 x 70cm or less and weight 30kg or less
- Don’t have your delivery note? If you created a return through your orders page online you will be sent a QR code or printable label via email with instructions. If you haven’t received an email and don’t have your delivery note you can write your order number on a piece of paper and include it in your parcel (you should also write your order number on the outside of the parcel too).
Shell Select, Booths & Dobbies
- Locations: You can only return your product to a Shell Select, Booths or Dobbies location that offers our Click & Collect service. Please check your nearest drop off location.
- Size & Weight: Your parcel should be of a size 140 x 80 x 70cm or less and weight 30kg or less
- Label requirements: In order to return to a Shell Select, Booths or Dobbies you will need your delivery note, or a printed label. Please contact us if you have neither.
Royal mail
- Locations: Take the package to a Post Office near you
- Size & Weight: Your parcel should be of a size 61 x 46 x 46cm or less and weigh 20kg or less
- Don’t have your delivery note? If you created a return through your orders page online you will be sent a QR code or printable label via email with instructions. If you haven’t received an email you can print a new label here.
- Remember to get proof of postage and keep it safe until we receive your items
Collect+
- Locations: Take the package to a Collect+ location near you
- Size & Weight: Your parcel should be of a size 90 x 60cm or less and weight 15kg or less
- Don’t have your delivery note? If you created a return through your orders page online you will be sent a QR code or printable label via email with instructions. If you haven’t received an email you print a new label here.
- Remember to get proof of postage and keep it safe until we receive your items
Evri dropoff & collection
- Locations: Take the package to a Evri location near you
- Size & Weight: Your parcel should be of a size 120 x 100cm or less and weight 15kg or less
- Don’t have your delivery note? If you created a return through your orders page online you will be sent a QR code or printable label via email with instructions. If you haven’t received an email you print a new label here. You can also arrange a collection from your home on the Evri website.
- Remember to get proof of postage and keep it safe until we receive your items
Your refund can take up to 2 weeks
How returns are processed
- It can take up to 7 days for your item to reach our returns centre.
- Once we've received your item, we will check and process it. This normally takes up to 2 days, depending on how many returns we are dealing with. We'll then send you a Return Processed email.
- Your refund should appear in your account within 5 days of the Return Processed email.
