From Oliver Sweeney these new Goodyear welted Derby toe cap boot is made from calf leather, antique finished by hand. The upper has simple, clean lines with a piped topline, a leather back pull tab and three antiqued brass ski hooks for a flexible fit, with a full leather lining and additional cushioned leather heel pad.
The Goodyear construction stitches the upper to the sole through a leather welt running around the outside of the upper, rather than through the inside of the shoe. This is a practical construction that keeps water away from the upper. There is a rubber outsole with crepe effect tread and a cleated rubber top piece for additional grip.
