The Sony RX100 Va compact camera is built for super fast image and movie capture, with amazing autofocus capability. It inherits the RX100 series’ renowned sensor, can shoot continuously at 24 frames per second, and captures 4K resolution movies. Pocket-sized, packed with features including silent shooting, and with sleek and intuitive design, it’s a superb compact designed for visual quality, rapid reaction and ease-of use.
Amazingly Fast Autofocus
The RX100 Va autofocus has been refined so you can react instantly. It can lock onto and capture a moving subject in just 0.05 seconds. It has 315 individual AF points for consistency of autofocus and motion tracking.
Continuous Shooting
Shoot continuously for up to 24 frames per second with AF/AE tracking, for up to 233 shots.
Zeiss Optics
An f/1.8-2.8 Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens with 24-70mm zoom is ideal for both portraits and macro shots with defocused backgrounds.
Advanced Image Processing
The RX100 Va features the high-speed BIONZ X processor for natural detail, realistic images, rich tonal gradations and low noise. It combines with The 20.1 megapixel Exmor RS® CMOS sensor with focal plane phase-detecting AF sensor to achieve such fast results. Plus up to 1/32000s Anti-Distortion Shutter minimises visual noise.
4K Recording
Capable of recording in 4K Ultra HD, the RX100 Va is ideal for capturing stunningly clear footage. It can shoot 17MP still images while recording a movie. And the Auto Dual Rec release function lets the camera automatically take the photographs in a choice of frequency release – high/standard/low settings.
Super Slow Motion
Record the action at up to 960 fps (40x normal frame rate).
OLED Viewfinder
The bright and retractable electronic viewfinder (EVF) delivers a high resolution equivalent to 2359k dots to display the subtlest details. EVF eye piece optics are treated with ZEISS T coating to reduce unwanted reflections for a clear corner-to-corner visibility.
180° Tilting Screen
Selfies and framing is easy with a 3” tiltable LCD screen. High and low positions are now in shooting distance which offers greater flexibility in capturing creative compositions.
