John Lewis Edition kitchens
John Lewis Editions is a collection of beautifully-crafted kitchens – from contemporary handle-free styles to more traditional timber doors, there are over 300 unique options so that you can find your perfect match. Each is built to order – and built to last – in the UK, with guarantees of up to 20 years.
How it works
1. Be inspired
Book a initial phone consultation with one of our kitchen experts to discuss your dream kitchen ideas, including style, function and budget.
2. Design and plan
Your Kitchen planner will create a design based on your requirements using their expert knowledge to make the best use of your space, sharing plans and 3D images to visualise your new kitchen.
3. Crafted by experts
Every kitchen is made to order, combining state of the art technologies with great British craftsmanship to deliver high quality sustainable products
4. Install
Once your pre-assembled kitchen is delivered to your home, our approved installers will get to work. From removing your old kitchen to fitting that hot tap you’ve had in your wish list.
Kitchen installation explained
Installation warranty
We offer a comprehensive two-year warranty covering installation and workmanship.
Professional pre-site survey
Before installation, a professional pre-site survey will be conducted to confirm plans, measurements, and requirements for electrical, water, and gas supplies.
Unit installation
Our installers will fit, level, align, and secure all base units, tower units, wall units, and feature units as specified in the project plans.
Panel and rail fitting
We will fit, scribe, and secure all décor end and filler panels, as well as cut, mitre, and secure all cornice, pelmet rails, plinth, and sealing strips.
Worktop preparation and installation
Worktops will be cut, mitred, and prepared for sink/hob installation, including cutouts and corner bolting.
Appliance, accessory and sink installation
Installation can range from fixing the item in place to providing the required services (water, electricity, gas supplies) and power outlets.
Please be advised that the scope of installation services provided by John Lewis & Partners is limited to the specific items outlined in our agreement. It is important to note that there are certain supplementary works which fall outside of our installation costs and service provisions that may be required to complete your kitchen in full to your own personal requirements.
Services outside of our installation standard are as follows:
