Highgrove`s Wildflower Meadow has a vital role in supporting the diverse organic life of the garden. Following the discovery of a French archive document reminiscent of the Wildflower Meadow`s meandering serpentine path, the artwork was adapted to include acer trees, Japanese maples and beehives - a gift from Fortnum & Mason that is of the utmost importance to the gardens` natural sustainability. Meadow flowers, including fritillaries, are joined by muntjac deer and sheep - who graze the meadow seasonally to aid with growth, mischievous foxes and regal pheasants.
