  • About John Lewis Solihull

John Lewis Solihull opened on 5 September 2001, in the new Touchwood Court centre in the middle of the town.

Featuring 265,000 sq ft of selling space across 3 floors, it opened with many new design developments such as improved lighting, decor and fixture ideas. In fact, it was the first time that so many new developments had been introduced in one shop at one time.

How to find us

Touchwood is situated in the heart of Solihull and is easily accessible by car. Junction 4 and 5 of the M42 are only a short distance away from Solihull town centre, providing a convenient link to the M6, M5 and M40 motorways.

There are 6,000 car parking spaces in the town centre, over 1,700 of which are in Touchwood itself.

Solihull railway station is 5 minutes walk from the town centre and regular bus services connect the town with most parts of the West Midlands.

Can’t wait for delivery? Why not try our FREE Click & collect service?

You simply place your online order by 7pm today, and we'll deliver it to your chosen shop for you to collect after 2pm tomorrow. This service is available from all John Lewis shops, and in an increasing number of selected Waitrose branches.

The service is available for most but not all of the items we sell, so please check individual product pages when you place an order. We're unable to accept orders that include items for collection from one of our shops as well as items for delivery, so in these cases, please place two separate orders – one for collection and one for delivery.

Supporting our communities

Our aims

We're proud of the close links we forge between our Partners and local schools, charities and organisations. And wherever we do business, at home or abroad, we work with communities to make a difference. That's why:

  • Our Community Matters programme in our shops continues to support local charities and community groups
  • We aim to give at least 1% of pre-tax profits to community initiatives
  • We will continue to seek out projects that make a positive lasting impact and reach as many local people as possible

If you’d like to nominate a good cause for Community Matters please complete the nomination form and take it to the Customer Services department.
