What should I do if my order hasn’t arrived?

Contact Uber Eats on the app within 14 days of placing your order

  • and follow the instructions.

How do I return an item I've bought through Uber Eats?

You can return or exchange unwanted items up to 30 days after purchase by taking them to our London Stratford or Leeds stores. You’ll need to show the order details on your Uber Eats app and the paper receipt that came with your order as proof of purchase. 

Uber Eats will refund you to your original payment method. You can’t return items online, through Click & Collect locations, or Waitrose. Exclusions may apply. View the John Lewis returns policy.

How do I return something that’s developed a fault?

You can return or exchange faulty items up to 30 days after purchase by taking them to our London Stratford or Leeds stores. You’ll need to show the order details on your Uber Eats app and the paper receipt that came with your order as proof of purchase. Uber Eats will refund you to your original payment method.

If you have a faulty item that came with a guarantee, please bring the item to the Technical Support team in one of our stores. You will need your paper receipt as proof of purchase for items with a guarantee.

Price promise and orders on Uber Eats

Our prices on Uber Eats will be the same as those in our stores, which we match with 25 other retailers as part of our price promise. You won’t be eligible for a refund if the price drops after your order is delivered. View the John Lewis price promise Terms & Conditions.
