• We’ll pre-build your new barbecue and deliver it assembled to your home

• We’ll hand over the safety and instruction manual and any spare pieces for the ongoing maintenance of the product

Before you buy

• Please ensure there is adequate access for us to place the assembled barbecue where required

• We’re unable to attach a gas bottle or add charcoal

• If you have purchased a gas barbecue, you will need to complete a gas leakage test before the product's first use

• If you require an existing appliance removed at the same time simply add both the Installation and Disposal Service options to your basket alongside your new barbecue

What we’ll do

Before you buy

• We will not remove an existing ceramic BBQ

• We will not take away any gas bottles

Where this service is available, simply add the Barbecue Disposal service to your basket alongside your chosen product

Before we arrive

• Please disconnect the old BBQ from the gas bottle prior to the delivery crew arriving, as we are unable to disconnect your gas connection

• Ensure the BBQ is emptied and clean (no food waste, grease, charcoal, wood)

• Ensure you have removed any accessories you wish to keep

• Ensure there is a clear and unobstructed route to remove the BBQ for disposal

What we'll do

• Unpack and assemble your new television stand at the same time as delivery, and take away the packaging for recycling

• We’ll give you the safety and instruction manual and any spare pieces for the ongoing maintenance of the product

These have already been assigned to the TV stands, depending on their difficulty and the details can be found alongside individual TV stand pages. Simply add the relevant Assembly service to your basket alongside your chosen TV stand.

Before you buy

• Please ensure the stand is the right size for your TV and that there is adequate space to assemble when we arrive

What we'll do

• Check that the location you wish to hang the product is suitable, scanning for pipes, cables, etc.

• Please be aware we’ll have to drill holes so there may be a small amount of decor damage that we will not be able to repair

Price

£40 Where this service is available, simply add the Picture or Mirror hanging service to your basket alongside your chosen product

Before we arrive

• Please ensure you have decided ahead of the service where you wish the product to be hung, considering the wall type and the likelihood of cables or pipes running in the wall cavity

• We’re unable to hang products not purchased from John Lewis or where we believe the wall type, location or fixings may not be safe

(including nursery furniture)

What we'll do

• We’ll build your new furniture product at the same time as delivery, and place it in your room of choice

• Where appropriate, we’ll recommend securing your product to a wall

• We’ll take away all of the packaging for recycling

• We’ll give you the safety and instruction manual and any spare pieces for the ongoing maintenance of the product

Where assembly is available on items such as bedside tables, chest of drawers and wardrobes, the service price has been assigned to individual pieces of furniture and can be found on the relevant product page.

Furniture assembly prices range from £25 to £175 depending on the build complexity. Simply add the Assembly service to your basket alongside your chosen product.

Before you buy

• Please ensure there is adequate space to assemble when we arrive

• For Nursery cot beds or cots, we are unable to assemble them if they are to be located alongside or close to a heat source (this is in accordance to manufacturer instructions)

• We are unable to offer a recycling service for any existing furniture with this service

If you would like to purchase a Lighting installation please either visit one of our shops or call our Technical Support line 03301 230 106 as we’re unable to add to an online order. Lines are open 8am – 9pm weekdays, 8am – 8pm Saturdays and 10am – 6pm Sundays. (Call charges vary according to the service provider.)

What we'll do

• We’ll first check your circuit is safe to work on

• We’ll then connect your new light fitting to an existing safe connection

• We’ll take away and recycle the packaging from your new light fitting

• To ensure our crews' safety we’ll need to switch off the mains power at your consumer board

• We’ll hand over the safety and instruction manual and any spare pieces for the ongoing maintenance of the product

Before you buy

• Please ensure you have the correct light bulbs as we don’t carry spares

• We’re unable to install recessed lights or any light fittings more than 3 metres from the ground

• Please note, we’ll need to switch off the power supply as part of the installation, and will be unable to complete the service unless we can do so

• We're unable to install on circuits with rubber or lead sheathed wiring or onto any surface which represents a potential health and safety risks for our crews

• If the light is for outdoors or for the bathroom you'll need to check the IP (Ingress Protection) rating. The higher the rating, the more protected it is. For outdoor or bathroom lighting you require a minimum IP44 rating

• We’re unable to offer a recycling service for any existing lights with this service

Before we arrive

• Please ensure you have the correct light bulbs as we don’t carry any spares

• As we will have turned off your mains power this may mean you might need to reset timers and so on, once we've finished – we’re not liable for any products that don't restart

• Please ensure that there is safe and suitable access to the installation point
