The exclusive collaboration is back. Here are Rejina Pyo’s tips to transition your wardrobe from winter to spring
Spring arrives like a reset button after winter, with lighter fabrics, less layers and slip-on shoes. Sounds simple, but what exactly to wear in 2026? The answer is John Lewis x Rejina Pyo. Returning for a second season, the new collection has everything you need to put a spring in your step – and carry you through summer. From transitional outerwear and tailoring to accessories and dresses, every style evokes easy elegance and playful personality.
On the new collection, Rejina says, “The 1990s became a reference point, not in a literal way, but in its attitude: a quiet strength, a simplicity in how pieces are worn and lived in. I wanted to explore a sense of ease and natural confidence, something that feels instinctive rather than overworked.” Here are Rejina’s picks to invest in now, along with advice for looking chic in them throughout the spring.
Layering
“I find this time of year the most interesting for dressing. Layering becomes lighter and more creative, but you still need it. A biker jacket is an easy piece to throw on, especially with unpredictable weather. I prefer it in a neutral tone so it works with everything, and it pairs naturally with something more relaxed, like cargo trousers. Styled, but subtle.”
90s minimalism
“I’ve always been drawn to simplicity. For this collection, the 1990s were a reference point, more in attitude than anything literal; a kind of ease and quiet confidence. A leather hobo bag feels soft and close to the body, while a corset top brings a more defined shape. Worn with a lightweight skirt and simple sandals, it feels relaxed and sensual. Love.”
Natural fabrics
“In spring, we naturally move towards lighter fabrics. Linen is something I return to because it feels breathable and easy, but still feels put-together. The blazer, waistcoat and shorts in this soft artichoke tone can be worn as a full set, which feels quite strong, or mixed with other pieces – depending on how I feel that day. I like having that flexibility.”
Personality flats
“I tend to prefer lower heels that still feel easy to wear throughout the day. The square-toe thong sandal with a kitten heel feels interesting but effortless, and works with everything. The buckle slip-on is easy and comfortable from day to night, with an offbeat detail that feels more elevated. I like it with something softer, like a satin trouser.”
Lighter colours
“Colour is something I always think about in terms of mood. Pale blues and subtle greens feel calm and understated, while a striking orange dress adds a fresh, more vibrant energy. I like colour when it brings something unexpected to an outfit without overpowering it.”
