Uppababy Vista Pushchair, Mica Silver

Product information

Whether zipping through the urban jungle or breezing down a winding country way, the Uppababy Vista takes your child out in style. Part sports car, part super-utility vehicle, the Vista is equipped to tackle the terrain. The Uppababy Vista is a pram and pushchair combination which includes a carrycot and seat that can be interchanged without the need to swap fabric. It can also be converted to a travel system with the addition of a compatible infant carrier (sold separately) and comes with Maxi Cosi adaptors.

The chassis has an easy-fold action and can be folded with the seat unit in place (if it's in the forward facing position). It also features a removable bumper bar, four wheel suspension, lockable front swivel wheels and an easily activated on-off brake. The handle height can also be adjusted to ensure parents have a comfortable stroll and the large shopping basket underneath gives you room to store essentials when on the go.

The seat unit can be used from 6 months and can easily be adapted to be forward or rearward facing. Little ones can enjoy the comfort of the 4 reclining positions and the supportive adjustable footrest. The high seating position means that the pushchair can double as a highchair if you're eating while out and about.

The carrycot is suitable from birth and can be used for overnight sleeping as it has a ventilated base and breathable mattress cover, which is lined with soft cotton and organic soybean fibre. The carrycot is super-cosy thanks to the plush lining and microsuede, which is easy to clean.

Equipped for all weather, the Vista comes complete with raincovers, pop-out UV protective sunshades and insect nets to keep little travellers happy.

Q & As

Uppababy Vista Pushchair, Mica Silver 4.7 5 6 6
Excellent value and performance I have been using this pram system since the birth of my now 14 week old son. So far we have used mostly the carry cot. It is spacious and comfortable and my son, who is not a great sleeper, has been sleeping well in it whilst pout and about and also at night when we have been away from home. The pram has good suspension and is very robust, we have taken it on many walks on rough, unfinished footpaths and so far no problems. Recently I have started clipping the Maxi Cosi Pebble onto the frame as it is getting too heavy to lug about otherwise and it fits on very easily. The basket is also much more accessible without the carry cot in place! The reason I have not given 5 stars is there are a couple of annoying features which would be easy to fix: -the rain cover for the carry cot is an extremely tight fit, in fact I would say it is too small. It covers the top of the carry cot and the sides down to the level of the bottom of the hood. Fitting it alone is difficult as it is held in place by elasticated front and back and they slip as the fit is so tight. The sides of the hood still get wet if the rain comes at an angle due to the mesh and the carry cot cover is exposed where it meets the hood as the rain cover is simply too small. I feel it should cover the entire body of the carry cot as well as the top. Such a shame Uppababy have skimped on this as in Winter it is really important! - the pram cover is held in place by 3 strips of velcro. It is also a very tight fit- a centimeter or 2 longer would make it much easier to fit. Also you can either have it on, or off, you can't fold it back or open so if you come inside from outdoors and your baby is warmly dressed, and you want them to continue sleeping but not overheat you have to remove the cover completely which then lets more light in and the sound of the velcro separating often wakes my baby when he's only sleeping lightly. A cover which could be unzipped or folded back would be much more practical. 19 December 2014
Uppabay vista Mica 1st class pram package!! Defintely Bugaboos match..even better in fact minus the price tag! A well designed thought about pram, comfortable, practical, versatile, sturdy, easy to maneuver, compact and a bit of eye candy!! I also love the fact the bassinet is safe for over night sleeping so great for travelling for weekends away, trips to country or even abroad. Can't praise this product enough!! I heart Uppababy! 22 May 2014
So happy we bought this! I'm a first time Mum and found the choice of prams and travel systems very confusing but I'm so happy that I chose the Uppababy Vista Pushchair. It feels lovely to push, nice and light with wheels that swivel easily making it very easy to move around. Thankfully it's fairly fool proof too. It's easy to put the cot on and off of the frame, handle is adjustable with just one button, the frame collapses relatively easily and it's very straightforward to put it up again. It is a generously sized pram compared to some we looked at. The cot part is fantastic quality and spacious enough for my baby to be very comfortable. I've used it as a cot for an overnight stay too and she was very happy in it. The boot of my car is small so I either turn the frame on its side and remove the rear window shelf or take off the two back wheels of the pram (which takes a second) and it will then lay flat in the boot. The car seat adapters are easy to use although I do find it quite difficult to remove the maxi cosi pebble car seat I bought to go with it. This is because the buttons on the car seat are awkwardly placed to be able to press them and lift the seat simultaneously. The storage basket is very generous and I've carried some pretty heavy stuff in there with no problem. When using the cot it can be tricky to get larger items into the basket but this will be resolved once we are using the seat. The whole pram is fantastic quality, frame, materials, wheels. The wheels are certainly tough enough for uneven ground and I have even used it to run with. The material is easy to wipe clean and the built in sun-shade which pulls forward from inside the hood is very handy on the rare sunny day! I feel that this pushchair/pram is very good value for money too. When we looked at cheaper prams they were not so cheap once you add the price of a sunshade, car seat adapters and so on and they were definitely not as good quality. 08 May 2014
Love this product! We had originally decided on the Bugaboo but had a look around once in the store and I'm so pleased we did, it is about £200 cheaper and has so many items as standard which would have cost even more (sun shade, rain cover etc). We used the pram part as a Moses basket when travelling as it's ventilated, it's easy to fold up & down and it's simple to use. now my son is older I've purchased the snack tray which clips in easily, everything goes together well & makes sense. I highly recommend to anyone. 16 April 2014
quality product Really easy to manouvere and put up/take down. Baby always seems very comfortable in bassinet (not used seat as too small at this stage). Also bought Maxicosi car seat which slots into pushchair without any problem. Would recommend without reservation. 30 December 2012
Fantastic stroller unit By far the best big purchase we've made for our little one. Comes with insect and rain covers for both the car seat and carrycot/seat units. The carrycot is lovely and cosy for the baby whilst still little, I loved the extra UV protection hood, which comes down practically to the cover. One small issue is that its a bit tricky to get to the basket when the carrycot is on, but one part of the basket flexes so its not impossible. I loved this unit, and it looks very smart as you proudly push around the baby :) The seat unit is great, flips far back so little one can have a snooze in near horizontal position. It's not a lie flat so not advised to use with them until they can support their head and can sit upright comfortably. Love that its both rear and front facing and is a doddle to switch in between the two. Access to mahoosive basket is easy. 5 point harness and bumper bar makes little one nice and safe, plus while they're still small you can flip the foot unit upwards and create a little cocoonlike seat. Handling is fab, can turn on a dime. Easy to brake, lock front wheels and fold down. It can take a tiny bit of getting used to the collapsing mechanism, but within a couple of times you'll have it down pat. It is a little bit heavy but I'm not overly strong and still manage ok lifting it in and out of the boot. My one star removal is because it is clearly not made with UK buses in mind - its just a bit too wide. Some of the newer buses are ok, but for the majority I have to get on using the side doors. Such a shame. But to be honest its such a minor thing compared to all the other features that I would still recommend this above the other brands. It didn't get Which? Best Buy for nothing. If you want a buggy that is good in the city and on country roads then I'd recommend this all-rounder. If its pure country you want then I'd get something with better suspension, but if its just offroading in a park then this can handle it just fine. Big thumbs up fm me. 17 August 2012
