And the advanced Linear Side-impact Protection System is preset for immediate use, one less thing to take care of so you can focus on enjoying the journey ahead. It also takes the back strain out of getting your child in and out of the car.

Comfortable travel in the safest position - A rear-facing car seat improves your child's safety in the event of a head-on crash. In this position front impact forces are distributed across the car seat shell. It is mandatory for children to travel rear-facing until they are over 15 months old and 76 cm tall. However, CYBEX recommends that children travel rear-facing in the Sirona for as long as possible.

Safe with preset side-protection for error-free installation - Advanced Linear Side-impact Protection is ready to use from the start, with no extra installation required. In combination with the energy-absorbing shell, it can reduce the force of a side-impact by approximately 25%. Energy Reduction Technology improves safety performance during front-facing travel. Impact forces are transmitted directly into the car seat via the harness system, where they are partially dissipated by energy-absorbing materials. This reduces the forces acting on the child's sensitive neck by approximately 20%. The energy-absorbing shell is designed to flex with an impact and channel dangerous forces away from your baby.

Quick change to a sleeping position - The one-hand recline function makes a peaceful drive only a moment away. Quickly adjust the seat and your child can take a relaxing nap on the go. With 5 recline positions available in both riding directions, it's easy to find the perfect sleeping position.

Grows with your child up to 4 years old - The height-adjustable headrest has 12 settings for a customized fit. As your child grows it's simple to adapt the seat to keep pace.

Safety:

• Under no circumstances should a rearward-facing car seat be used on a passenger seat where there is an active airbag.
• Correct fitting of all car seats and boosters is of paramount importance in making them the most effective in the event of an accident. Not all car seats fit all cars and it is important to check for fitting suitability on all cars you intend to fit the seat to, as well as re-checking if you change your car.
• Always read the instruction booklet which comes with your car seat to achieve a safe and correct fitting, retaining the guide for future reference. We recommend fitting your car seat in advance of first using it.
• We recommend that babies shouldn't be left in car seats (infant carriers) for prolonged periods.

Car seats adhere to strict safety regulations and conform to one of the following two types of seats:

• Height-based seats - These seats adhere to the safety regulation R129. They must be rear-facing until your child is over 15 months old. Your child can use a forward-facing child car seat when they’re over 15 months old. You must check the seat to make sure it’s suitable for the height of your child. i-Size is an enhancement of R129 that makes it easier to confirm your car seat's compatibility with any i-Size approved vehicle - reducing the risk of installing your car seat incorrectly. While all i-Size car seats meet the R129 testing standards, not every R129 car seat is an i-Size compatible seat.
• Weight-based seats - These seats adhere to the R44.04 car seat regulation. The seat your child can use (and the way they must be restrained in it) depends on their weight.
