Keep the furniture in a dry environment and avoid leaving it under direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Sourced in Indonesia, rattan is fast-growing compared to wood alternatives. Every part of the rattan vine is used. Outer rattan cane is used for attractive weaving and the solid core is steamed to manipulate it into beautiful furniture shapes.
