Maison Francis Kurkdjian was born in 2009 from the encounter between Francis Kurkdjian, a renowned perfumer with scores of successful creations to his name, and Marc Chaya, Co-founder and President of the fragrance house. Francis Kurkdjian has been a leading perfumer since he started his career with Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male some 20 years ago. He has since created more than 40 iconic perfumes for world famous fashion houses and designers such as Armani, Burberry, Dior, Elie Saab, Lanvin, Narciso Rodriguez or Yves Saint Laurent. He also opened pathways to a new vision by pioneering in 2001 the segment of bespoke fragrances, lending his talent to major contemporary artists or creating gigantic olfactory installations in emblematic places such as Château de Versailles or Grand Palais in Paris.
