Enter Emma J Shipley’s uncharted land of curious creatures inspired by myths, legends and the unique beauty of the natural world. Shipley is a British artist and designer who studied at the Royal College of Art, and has always had a love of nature, and a fascination with mixing imagination and reality. She creates hand-drawn designs for nature lovers, dreamers, and maximalists.

This fabric, Creatura, is part of the designer’s second collection for Clarke & Clarke which is a fantastical, nature-inspired series that travels from Africa to America via British fairy tales, always with a touch of surreal fantasy. This is a sumptuous velvet version of Creatura, but it's also available as a pure cotton fabric or cotton/linen blend.
