- 1. Cut the stems diagonally about 2-3cm. 2. In a vase, add flower food and fill 2/3 of your vase with water. 3. To keep your flowers vibrant and fresh during their journey, they've been nourished with a non-toxic hydrating gel. Before you begin arranging your flowers, rinse the gel from the stems down the sink & proceed with trimming.
