The fine blades of the corkscrew slip between the side of the cork and glass neck to open or re-cork a bottle, all with a simple turn of the hand and no forcing. Patented by L'Atelier du Vin in 1949, this opening system lets you extract the cork without piercing its surface, before putting it back into place as if nothing had happened at all.
