Ideal for a variety of cooking, this chef pan can be used on its own as a small frying pan or for baking and roasting in the oven. Use the lid to retain moisture and flavour when cooking small portions of stews and casseroles.
The non-stick surface provides quick and easy food-release and is durable, resistant to wear and abrasion and robust enough to use with metal utensils. Little or no added fat is required, making cooking healthier.
The hollow, cast stainless steel handle with a V-shape fixing reduces heat travelling to the handle and so stays cooler when the pan is on the hob.
Using the latest multi-layering technology, where premium-grade stainless steel and aluminium are bonded together to form a special 3-layer material, heat spreads evenly and gently throughout the entire pan from base to rim. The 3-ply range is suitable for use on all heat sources, including induction, is oven and dishwasher safe and comes with a reassuring lifetime guarantee.
Metal handles
Metal pan handles heat up when cooking so be careful when lifting pans and touching handles. Please use an oven glove, mitt or pot holder when handling hot pans.
Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless Steel Care
- Read the appropriate instructions that will come with your item. Remove all packaging and labels. Wash the pan in hot, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly
- For any interior with a non-stick cooking surface, rub a film of vegetable, rapeseed, or sunflower oil with kitchen paper towel. Rinse with hot water and dry thoroughly. These oils are also best for cooking with
- Medium or low heat will provide the best results for cooking, including frying and searing
- Le Creuset Silicone tools or wooden/heat resistant plastic tools are recommended
- For best results, use an appropriately sized hob ring for even cooking and to reduce the risk of damage to the product
- Never drag your product across a glass surface. Always lift to move to prevent damage
- Oven and grill safe up to 260°C. Allow a minimum distance of 6.5cm when grilling
- Always use oven gloves when handling hot products
- Allow product to cool before cleaning
- Clean with non-abrasive washing tools
- Freezer compatible and dishwasher safe, handwash recommended
