Inspired by traditional stumpwork motifs from the Royal School of Needlework Collection, this elegant sewing kit celebrates one of the RSN's most popular embroidery techniques. Designed as a portable needle roll, or "hussif" as it was known in the 18th century, it combines practical function with beautiful decorative embroidery.

The design features a selection of classic stumpwork-inspired motifs worked in a variety of traditional surface embroidery stitches, making it an enjoyable and rewarding project for stitchers looking to explore a range of techniques.

Stitches include: Blanket Stitch, Block Shading, Bullion Knots, Chain Stitch, Coral Stitch, Fly Stitch, French Knots, Laid Work, Outline Stitch, Raised Stem Band Stitch, Seeding, Trellis, and many more.

Finished size approximately 12 × 15 × 5cm

Includes all materials required to complete the design and a detailed instruction booklet with step-by-step guidance.
