Inspired by five decades of one of Seiko's most loved sports watches, the Seiko 5 Sports 2019 collection modernises the classics with new features concerning the straps, new colours and bigger cases. Originally, the watch was named for its 5 key attributes: automatic movement, day-date display, the date being available in English and French, water resistance, recessed crown, durable case, and bracelet. This design comes with a solid three-link bracelet strap that conveys a more formal approach to the wrist.

DEDICATED TO PERFECTION The story of Seiko began in 1881, when a 22 year old Entrepreneur, Kintaro Hattori, opened a shop selling clocks in central Tokyo. Just eleven years later, in 1892, he established the ‘Seikosha’ factory and built its first clock, and in 1895, its first pocket watch. Today, after 135 years of innovation, Kintaro Hattori’s company is still dedicated to the perfection that the founder always strove to achieve.
