Here’s an intriguing design, first sketched for Liberty Fabrics in 1982 but left unfinished. It allows us to see all facets of the design process, peeling back the layers to expose initial silhouettes through to realistic and detailed final illustrations. It’s an essay in blues, with roses, poppies, narcissi and tulips so densely packed that there’s almost and abstract quality. Just perfect with jeans or chinos and a brightly coloured belt.
Made with Liberty’s famous 100% cotton Tana® Lawn fabric, renowned for its softness. Manufactured in Portugal and cut on a more formal, gently tailored block with removeable collar stiffeners and a triple button cuff.

Brand information
The Simon Carter story began on King’s Road, London in 1985. Simon pursued an interest in vintage clothing and accessories by browsing the stylish shops of Chelsea. Taking inspiration from the vintage accessories he saw, Simon designed a men’s pewter brooch, which he had manufactured and sold successfully to a Chelsea jewellers.
From its modest beginning, the Simon Carter brand grew to include cufflinks and watches. Today the range also includes ties, shirts, suiting, hats, gloves and scarves. Now a globally recognised brand, Simon Carter products are stocked in leading stores around the world.
