The Nourish Start Weaning Kit by Vital Baby is packed with everything you need to embark on your weaning journey. Start weaning spoons have super soft, shallow tips to ensure you’re offering a manageable amount of food to your baby, gently easing them in to weaning. The long handles have been designed so that they’re comfortable for parents to hold and reach right to the bottom of food jars, and the built-in hygienic footrest helps to keep the tip off the tabletop.

The scoop feeding bowl has scooped sides and channels to help parents and baby to easily scoop every drop of food. Integrated mashing zone allows you to mash food using the back of the spoon, and the lid with integrated spoon cover makes this set perfect for on-the-go weaning.

Store and wean pots are perfectly sized for storing your homemade foods and purees during early weaning and snacking in later stages. Soft bases and sides make it easy to remove frozen foods from the pots, and the leak-proof and stackable lids make them the ideal solution for neat storage.

The mess catcher bib is rollable for travels and fully wipe clean. It’s integrated crumb catcher catches all runaway crumbs and spills. The free-flow cup is ideal for first drinks and helps to teach sipping skills. The spout is specially designed to be kind to teeth and gums and, when flipped down, creates a non-spill seal for travel.

Most babies are ready for solids at around 4-6 months, with their usual milk still being the main source of nutrition until at least 12 months. Here are some signs that they might be ready:

Top rack dishwasher safe (max. 65°C). Do not store in direct sunlight or near a source of heat, this could damage the product. Do not allow to come into contact with solvents or harsh chemicals, this could damage the product. Some foods will stain these products. Do not use in an oven or grill. Do not microwave for more than 60 seconds at a time or with oil rich foods, as this may damage the products. To avoid surface damage, do not use sharp utensils on / with this product. Do not submerge cutlery into food when microwave heating.

It will only biodegrade in landfill conditions, so you can use it again and again knowing that it’s functional, practical and made from safe and sturdy materials. What’s more, it can also be recycled, so you can (and should!) recycle it safely in the knowledge that if it does end up in landfill, we’ve got it covered.
