The classic design of this BabyDan playpen makes it a stylish and useful addition to the nursery. The base has 2 positions, high for baby, or low for children who can stand up. The playpen sits on short legs and has smooth slats all the way around so you can keep an eye on baby and they can keep an eye on the world around them. There is a playmat to go with the playpen, sold separately.

Really good product This is a good quality playpen that looks nice in our living room as it is a natural wood colour and expensive looking. Our baby loves being in it already, we are using the higher setting, it is so much better than being down on the floor especially now the colder weather is coming. i managed to put it together by myself, although attaching the base was a little tricky as the instructions were not very clear for that part of the process. you do need a mat as the base is just plywood, I got the matching one and find it fits well and is nicely padded. 08 September 2012

Lovely item A lovely (if not a bit expensive) item. Very easy to assemble. Looks nice in lounge and is very practical. I love the fact that the adjustable height means its perfect for a very young baby (mine is 3 months). She is safe, secure and seems very content and happy in it. I will be able to continue to use until she is much older. I would recommend buying the mat also. 25 April 2012

Great for bad backs This is a really attractive, useful playpen (as long as you buy a mat for it) and ideal if you are tall/lazy/have a bad back as the raised base means that you don't have to bend too far to put your baby in the playpen. Also the base detaches completely so we're planning on using it on the lawn in the summer. It is easy to put together but is probably a two person job just because of the size of the panels. 18 April 2012

Lovely playpen but disappointed it can't be folded away. This is a lovely solid wooden playpen, but very disappointing that it cannot be folded down. It's too fiddly to unscrew each time you want to put it away and takes up a lot of space if you haven't got a large room. 16 February 2012

Son and daughter in law love it! Purchased this as a present and they are really pleased with it - the ability to higher the base is a really good idea for babies. A safe place from dogs and other children. Expensive but my grandchild is worth it! 19 September 2011

A wonderful product I have used this product for both of my babies. It was a wonderful and good looking product to keep baby safe and contented while you are busy doing other things (e.g. cooking or catch up extra an hour sleep in the morning;). The mat is also very useful and lovely. 08 September 2011

Good playpen +ve Delivery was very prompt Easy to construct Looks good and feels solid Like having the integrated raised base 9 month old seems to be very happy playing in it -ve One of the horizontal bars had a small crack (but easily fixed with wood glue) Not collapsable 03 August 2011

Good, sturdy product Does what it says on the tin - keeps children contained! It's not as ugly as some of the other ones on the market, though I would say to just put your own mat in there, the one that is meant for this product is a bit rubbish. 06 July 2011
