Q & As

Rated 5 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hoya UV Lens Filter A good quality UV filter and at an excellent price when purchased with a new Nikon lens. 02 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Must have protection for the camera lens I bought this to protect the lens on my Leica V-Lux 2 compact camera. Having had some rain splash onto it, thankfully only rain, somewhat overdue but I did buy this filter only as a lens protector. Once fitted you do need to screw it on quite tight - the lens cap going on and off seems to have a loosening effect otherwise. To get the right filter size check the lens screw thread size to ensure correct fitment: its in mm and should be on the lens and in the camera manual. This is vital protection for the lens - from rain, fingerprints or worse - so I highly recommend buying one of these. Compared to a possibly damaged lens or poor quality photos its small money really. 06 June 2012
