Q & As

Microsoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000 Keyboard and Mouse 4 5 7 7
Nice shape keyboard Currently on the second one as the writing on the 's' key rubbed off in the first week. Also he mouse was was not very responsive. Had no problems replacing it John Lewis were very quick and efficient. However the mouse has started playing up after about 4 weeks and is intermittently unresponsive so this one may be going back again and I won't be asking for a replacement. 04 October 2014
Great product The keyboard and mouse are used by my wife to allow her to position her laptop to avoid neck strain as she spends several hours at a time at her machine. They have worked perfectly. She is a touch typist and she adapted very quickly to the moulded shape. Would thoroughly recommend. 24 April 2014
Value for price paid Mouse is fine and moves around easily compared with an older model I had. Only negative about the keyboard is the left shift key is a bit small and I easily press the key next to it. Otherwise its fine 05 July 2013
Quality Product There are many wireless keyboard and mouse 'sets' available, but I have never experienced any issues with this set, and hence, when upgrading some computers, didn't hesitate/need to look for alternative(s) 15 January 2013
Glad I bought it I am very pleased I bought this keyboard. I find it very easy to use and being more portable I can move it out of the way when I want to use my desk for other tasks. The mouse took a bit more getting used to as it is quite chunky. Now I have been using it for a few weeks so has become easier, being very smooth and accurate 02 April 2012
Good, but... Basically a good keyboard and mouse, used extensively over two weeks. BUT... The left hand Shift key is so small that when touch-typing I frequently hit the adjacent key at the same time. Again, when touch-typing it is annoyingly easy to hit both 'b' and 'n' keys at the same time (because of the shape of the keyboard), although I am gradually getting better. One more grouse: I can find no instructions for using the programmable keys across the top. Others on line are complaining about this too. Basically, it's a good keyboard; it works well. But I don't think I would buy another. 21 March 2012
Good Keyboard, excellent mouse The “ergonomic” shape takes getting used to but is fine now. Only gripe is that the Escape and Function keys could be raised higher. Mouse is great and needs no mouse pad, which is very useful for me. Both devices transmit to a USB key style dongle on the PC, so there is no wireless receiver pad cluttering the desk. 09 March 2012
