The Andersen A2 7kW Tethered EV Charger brings premium British design and reliable technology directly to your driveway. It is created for homeowners who want the daily convenience of a permanent, attached cord without compromising on the look of their property.
Unlike standard chargers, the A2 features a unique, built-in hidden cable compartment. The extra-long 8.5m charging cable winds neatly around the unit and sits completely out of sight behind the magnetic lid when not in use, giving you plenty of reach for your driveway while keeping your exterior wall entirely tidy. To save you from wiping down a wet or dirty cord after a rainy drive, the internal storage tracks are lined with integrated brushes that automatically dry and clean the cable as you wind it away. It features universal Type 2 compatibility, working seamlessly with any electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle on the UK market.
The Andersen A2 is built using a highly durable, coated aluminium casing that easily withstands the unpredictable British weather. Using the Andersen smartphone app, you can easily connect the charger to major UK smart energy tariffs - including Octopus Intelligent Go, EDF, and OVO Charge Anytime - allowing you to charge at the lowest off-peak rates and schedule your car to power up during the cheapest overnight hours. The Andersen A2 7kW is also solar compatible.
Includes standard installation which begins with a virtual survey. You will receive an email-guided link that allows you to upload photos and videos of your property. This information is thoroughly assessed by the expert Andersen engineering team to ensure everything is perfectly prepared ahead of your physical installation appointment, the Andersen team will be in touch with the results of your survey and then book your installation. Lead times for installation are 3 weeks.

For those who want to give their charge point some extra TLC, running cotton buds into the groove on the fascia can help remove unwanted dirt, dust and insects. Please ensure that when you are finished with your charge point, the cable is stored correctly. Make sure to check regularly for any signs of damage, cuts etc. We do not recommend using any soaps or other products while cleaning the plug compartment.
