Honouring the original archive document, the central floral motifs have been preserved, while the repeat has been thoughtfully reimagined to flow as a full-coverage embroidery. The jacquard ground, detailed with signature dots, echoes Dearle’s distinctive decorative language, resonating strongly with the Morris & Co. design team. An inscription in the margin of the original archive document reads, 'Will something like this do, for the suggested staircase paper, a la vine tapestry?' - H.D. A charming glimpse into the creative dialogue of the time and a reminder of the artist-to-artist connection this collection celebrates across the centuries.

Printed on 100% hemp cloth, Cornflower is a celebration of florals - featuring tulips, acanthus, daisies and of course, the cornflower itself.
