Expertly crafted from kiln-dried solid meranti wood, with engineered wood and ash veneers, it also contains MDF for exceptional strength and ensures the product’s structural integrity over time.
The use of veneers results in high-quality furniture that has flawless surfaces and consistent colour tones that will not be subject to cracking.
Adjustable levellers provide stability on uneven surfaces.
Please note: West Elm bed frames have slat gaps larger than 7cm, this would invalidate the mattress guarantee of any John Lewis mattress used in conjunction with this bed frame.

Meranti wood is a medium to coarse textured wood which ranges in colour with a slightly interlocked grain pattern.
About kiln drying:
Kiln drying is a process that removes moisture, enhancing durability and helping prevent warping, splitting, cracking and mildew.
