Create great tasting espresso at home, from bean to espresso, in no time at all. The Barista Express lets you grind fresh beans right before extraction, with interchangeable filters and a choice of automatic or manual operation for authentic café-style results.

The integrated Precision Conical Burr grinder gives you dose control, delivering the right amount of coffee on demand for maximum flavour, with fully adjustable grind size and dose across 18 grind settings. Digital temperature control (PID) delivers water at precisely the right temperature for optimal extraction, while the Sage Razor dosing tool trims the puck for a consistent dose every time. A low-pressure pre-infusion delivers a richer crema, extracted via a 15 bar Italian-made pump, with a pressure gauge to help dial in optimum extraction.

The powerful steam wand lets you hand-texture microfoam milk to enhance the coffee's flavour and create latte art. Use the dedicated hot water outlet for Americanos or tea, and brew espresso-based favourites including espresso, Americano, flat white, cappuccino, latte and hot chocolate.

Care & Washing Instructions:

Clean the outer surface with a soft cloth and a mild detergent — do not use alkaline cleaning agents. All parts and accessories should be cleaned by hand using warm water and a gentle dish washing liquid. Do not use abrasive cleansers, pads or cloths which can scratch the surface. Do not clean any parts or accessories in the dishwasher.

Rinse removable parts such as filter baskets and the portafilter under hot water after each use. Wipe the steam wand after each use to keep it free from milk residue. The machine will notify you when a clean or descale cycle is needed — simply follow the prompts. We recommend descaling approximately every 3 months with the Sage Descaler. Replace the Sage water filter approximately every 3 months.
