Vispring Comfort Promise

Terms and conditions

If you decide that you have made the wrong choice of mattress spring tension, you may make a one-time exchange of your mattress for one of a different spring tension. The Comfort Promise only applies to mattresses purchased from John Lewis. We highly recommend that you try the selected model in a store and get advice from a branch partner to select the correct mattress tension, before making a purchase either instore or online. If you make a purchase and it is found that you have not tried the mattress first or have bought it in a tension against either the guidance of the branch partner or that issued by Vispring, then this may invalidate your right to an exchange under the terms of the Vispring Comfort Pledge.

The Comfort Promise may only be invoked:
1. Between 30 and 90 days after delivery of the mattress; and
2. Upon production of proof of purchase.

The Comfort Promise does not apply to:
1. Ex-display models
2. Divan base
3. Mattresses which are defective due to misuse, wilful damage, accidental damage (including unauthorised repairs or alterations), neglect or general wear and tear.
4. You will be responsible for arranging the exchange of the original mattress and you cannot retain the original mattress.
5. There is a customer collection fee of £19.95 and a recycling fee of £29.95 for the returned mattress so that we can responsibly recycle the exchanged mattress.
6. The Comfort Promise is limited to one replacement only, which will be the same size with the same mattress ticking (fabric). If this model, size or fabric is no longer available, Vispring limited reserves the right to substitute a suitable alternative.
7. In the case of zip and link mattresses, only one of the two mattresses will be exchanged, and the mattress cannot be changed to a one-piece.
8. Only the original purchaser may invoke the Comfort Promise, and it only applies to mattresses which remain in the country of purchase.

The luxurious Kensington mattress harmoniously marries exceptional support with extraordinary softness derived from a blend of the most exclusive natural fibres like cashmere and silk.

If you are using your mattress on a bedstead, please ensure that the gaps between the slats of the base are no more than 7.5cm (3”) apart. This ensures that the springs in the mattress are properly supported. Vispring recommend the use of a Vispring mattress pad, this will serve as a protective layer between your mattress and the base of your bedstead. The mattress pad will prolong the life of your mattress when it is used on a slatted base, as it will prevent indentations and protect against moisture from wooden slats. A mattress pad is required to comply with the 30-year guarantee on any Vispring mattress that has been placed on a slatted base.
