A gadget that does what it's supposed to! Excellent product. I usually avoid gadgets but this really does work - de-bobbles jumpers and makes them wearable again. Dead easy to use, had no problem with taking off/replacing either battery cover or lint compartment, as some reviewers seem to have had. Only small criticism is that it's very battery hungry. 15 February 2013

Wish I'd bought one years ago I bought this item after reading other reviews on the John Lewis website. It really works, it was very easy to use and I'm delighted with it. Does a very good job This clothes shaver does a really good job. The downside is that the dispenser is a bit difficult to open. I would suggest that the manufacturer take it back to the drawing board and re-design how the dispenser opens, and make it a bit easier to open. 06 November 2012

Every home should have one. This is a great litlte product. I've never had one before and now wonder how I lived without it. I've done 6 jumpers so far and the results are amazing. It takes about 30 mins per jumper. It is very addictive, doing it slowly will get the best results. Be careful with thin jumpers, try to avoid the bumpy seams or you could end up snagging the wool. The lint collector is hard to remove, but I used a nail file to file down the plastic lugs inside (took 30 seconds) and it easy to remove now. Ignore the arrows which tell you which way to remove the box, do the opposite and it will come away easily. I would definitely recommend this product. 13 October 2012

Really does work I have to admit I was a bit sceptical that this would really rejuvenate my knitwear but it really has. This arrived yesterday and I have shaved 4 pieces of knitwear so far. Each piece has varied in the chunkiness of the knit and the amount of bobbling but they all look like brand new. It is very easy to use and very satisfying to watch the process. As others have said the container that collects the wool is a little tricky to get off as it's quite stiff. It has saved me alot of money because now I don't need to buy any new knitwear come winter as my favourites are as good as new. 25 May 2012
