The fifth iteration in Fujifilm’s celebrated X100 series has been upgraded with a newly designed lens, improvements to its Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder and a tilting rear touch screen, alongside a host of other updates. Using the X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 4, it is a highly sophisticated photography tool ensuring superb quality stills and video for all photographers from professionals to everyday enthusiasts.
X Series Sensor
Featuring the upgraded X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor, specifically designed for the X Series, its 26.1MP resolution image is spectacularly detailed while visual noise remains controlled. A high ISO of 12800 (expandable to 51200) ensures equally good detail in low light settings. Auto-focus performance has been boosted over the previous model, so you can react as fast as the action in front of you.
Classic Design
The X100V’s refined camera body has top and bottom plates milled from single pieces of aluminium, with improvements made to the grip, ISO dial and lens barrel for more comfortable operation. This model features a two-way tilting touch screen for dynamic perspective shooting and intuitive control over settings and framing. This is also the first in the series to feature weather resistance with the combined use of the AR-X100 Adapter ring and the PRF-49 protection filter optional accessories (sold separately).
Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder
With improvements made to the hybrid viewfinder, choose between an optical or electronic view. The OVF offers 95% frame coverage with 0.52x magnification and parallax-correcting frame lines, while the 3.69M dot OLED EVF provides an uninterrupted view of the world.
4K Movies at 30fps
Record 4K Ultra HD video at a super-smooth 30 frames per second, or capture 120fps Full HD for slow motion effects. Capture 10-bit colour for gorgeous authenticity of hue, and you can add Fujifilm’s renowned effects for further creativity.
Enhanced 23mm Lens
The 23mm f/2.0 lens in the X100V is a significant step up from previous cameras in the series for even better resolution and lower distortion.
Retro Styles
With Film Simulation, you can choose from classic Fujifilm photo styles, and give your pictures varied colour and tone to suit the subject, just like pros did with film. There's standard PROVIA, vivid Velvia, and ASTIA with its true-to-life skin tones; PRO Neg.Std and PRO Neg.Hi, which are portrait modes based on professional colour negative film; and Monochrome expression with three different filter effects as well as Sepia.
Smart Phone Control
With the dedicated "FUJIFILM Camera Remote" app, you can focus and trigger the camera release from your smart phone or tablet. The app not only lets you adjust focus, but also control settings like shutter speed, aperture, exposure compensation and ISO sensitivity.
