Designed with St. Christopher, the patron saint of safe travels and protection, this pendant from Milton & Humble holds deep meaning and symbolism. Dated 1961 and designed by Paul Vincze, an influential designer of his time, it is a significant and sort after piece. Vincze's designs are classic and timeless in their appeal, making this a wonderful gift that can be treasured for generations to come. This coin-style St Christopher pendant is hallmarked 9ct gold in London.
Paul Vincze was one of the most original, influential and artistic sculptor-medallists of the 20th Century. Among his many notable subjects, in 1953 he was requested to design one of the official medals for the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth ll.
